About the Creator

As a white teacher, I feel strongly that it is my responsibility to continually examine my privileges, and to work towards becoming increasingly anti-racist. Over the past several weeks, a multitude of sources have been floating around the internet, and I was inspired to curate resources for white folks who are looking to progress in their journey of identity discovery and understanding of white privilege and white fragility.

These are just resources that I have found to be usefully - I am not an expert and am still working on my own journey. I am indebted to those who originally created these resources, and have cited everywhere I could. I urge you to continue to engage in your own research and read/watch/listen to what feels helpful to you. Just remember to look at who is creating the media you consume, and seek sources that have a different lived experience from yourself.

With gratitude & endless learning,
Emily McNeil
